Dangerous Electronics

Build your own zapper by first building your own high-voltage capacitor out of the supplies provided. You may choose to build a either of two more challenge options: a working electric motor, and a "mystery" project. The most dangerous part of this class is that it could change your mind about the wonderful field you plan to devote your life to, causing you to instead choose electronics. All supplies are provided, and all that's required is resonable skill with the hands,  brain, and some curiosity. The session will start with a brief explanation of the projects and how they work, followed by interactive, hands-on construction and play.

Lisa Betts-LaCroix

Theatre Improvisation for Family Fun

Theatre improvisation is a great way to get out of your head and into your body; practice listening and responding, trusting your instincts and making good choices. This session is for anyone who would like to be more comfortable in front of people, improve their communication and reasoning skills, or meet other conference attendees. We will play a variety of improvisation and theatre games and will have an all around fun and exciting time. This is a class for the whole family.

Or just come by yourself and we'll put teams together. This session is a series of collaboratively competitive task based challenges designed to see how you can work as a team to solve the problems presented. Create A Successful Home-Based Business

A successful business might be one that produces lots of revenue, can run itself while you're on a trip, bring you notoriety, or helps your community. But how can you create one, without spending a lot of time or money? The key is creating a creative (marketing) plan and understanding some basic marketing principles.
