Conference History and Attendance

This is your invitation to become an Exhibitor or Advertiser at the upcoming HSC Conference 2007. This will be another of our very successful conferences in Sacramento to be held August 16-19, 2007 at the Radisson Hotel. The Sacramento conference has grown to well over 1,000 attendees in recent years.

Our attendees are discriminating consumers, interested in a variety of high quality, creative, HANDS-ON educational materials. They tell us that they come to the conference, often with their children, looking for items that they cannot locate in their local teacher supply stores. They expect quality and value from their purchases as well as resource ideas and in-depth information about the products displayed.

Demographics

In order to better describe our attendees to potential exhibitors, we included a demographics survey as part of a past conference evaluation form. Some of the more pertinent statistics include the following:

Ages 4-6 - 29%
Ages 7-9 - 27%
Ages 10-12 - 29%
Ages 13-15 - 15%

Annual household income varies:

9% earn from $25,000 to $40,000
20% earn $40,000-60,000
20% earn $60,000-80,000
51% earn $80,000 or more

The parents are generally well educated:

5% have not attended college
54% hold bachelors degrees
41% hold postgraduate degrees
